Community Education

We provide education to the community mainly by hosting workshops and outreaches at the locations that benefit the most. Through education we also help the immigrants to integrate into the new country and become responsible citizens. Also many people who live in low income neighborhoods are vulnerable to crimes and gang activites, CWA have helped them to be aware of these crimes and to take action to prevent it. The following is the list of our educational activities:

• Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention.

• Education on Gang Prevention.

• Immigration and Citizenship: Rights and Responsibilities.

• Safety for Women and Crime Prevention.

• After School Program: There was an After School Program running by CWA at Asian Family Pacific Family Center to asist children with homework, reading and writing. Due to the facilty shut down and other difficulties, we are no longer able to offer this program.
